Israeli-American Relations

It is a complicated relationship; that of Israel and America. Complete with deceit, betrayal, and scandal, lavished with warmth, hospitality, and mutual co-operation, united in character, joined in nature, and married in friendship. The two are nearly inseperable; as both have become one. For Israel is married to America; the Jewish people cling to the US, and America has accepted the proposal. In fact, America has proposed the proposal.

But who's the "man," and who's the one in control?

It is America that rules Israel. America is the man of the house, and Israel succumbs to America's demands. Israel is like the 51st state of the US. Israel is yet another "province" of the American empire. It is an important province. Israel is the western world's link to the east. It is America's bridge to the rest of the world. Israel is the precious bride of America, yet Israel is but a dowry in America's marriage to the world. For Israel is not the only bride of America. Israel is only a key that is used to unlock the treasure, and only a body that is used for pleasure.

But America was not the one that ruined Israel. Modern Israel was ruined before it even existed. It was born in this body, and raised for this role, by those who claim to have control. In its youth, modern Israel depended upon the support of America, for Israel thought it was born out of the western empire. The west raised Israel and taught her to love its institutions. At first Israel hesitated, and was somewhat uncooperative, but as Israel grew, it grew to love and depend upon America. And as Israel ripened for reproduction, it began to bear its fruit. But these are not the fruits of Israel. They are the products of America; fertilized by the design of the American empire.

America used Israel to spread its institutions so that it could reach out to grasp the rest of the world. Israel, like a slut, has been used. But a slut is not a slut for nothing. People sell themselves for a profit, and Israel has profited from its relationship with America. Israel has long been an orphan. An orphan that seperated itself from its Creator; for Israel has seperated itself from G-d, and thus depends upon foreign nations and lives according to their laws. Therefore Israel needed someone else to care for her, and so she allowed America to raise her. And once she grew up, Israel was married to the American empire.

But America does not love Israel as it loves its own children, for Israel is not of its blood. Nor does America care for Israel as parents would care for their children, because Israel was only adopted for a specific purpose. Israel is yet another American investment. When the investment pays off, America is happy and is proud of Israel. But when it doesn't, America gets angry and abandons Israel, because America has raised Israel for profit, and not for love.

Sure, parents do get angry when their children disobey them; even the most lenient and loving parents can be annoyed by their children. But loving parents don't abandon their children, they only wish for their best. Parents want their children to grow strong and courageous, and live a good life. Parents want their children to become independent and think for themselves. So parents want their children to eventually care for themselves and find their place in the world. In this context, America is not a worthy parent of Israel, for America is not a loving parent. Neither is America a loving husband.

America has adopted Israel for its own benefit and then "married" her only for pleasure. America raised Israel for this role and then "married" Israel to keep control. But no covenant has been made and no promises have been kept, for Israel is only paid to serve America, and America's only role is to keep control.

Israel has become a possesion. She has become the property of America and a puppet of the nations. Israel has enslaved itself and not lived according to its Purpose. Israel is a man that behaves like a woman. When Jacob wrestled with G-d (with the messenger of G-d), his name was changed to Israel (which is to "wrestle with G-d"), for this name better suits him. Because Jacob fathered a nation that wrestles with G-d and with His Laws, and allows other nations to enslave it and rule Israel with their own laws. Israel shies from responsibility, and thus behaves like a child. It is only for this reason that America has had the opportunity to "raise" Israel, a nation that is older and more experienced than every other nation, and to control Israel, that is supposed to be a Light unto the nations.

A Light Unto the Nations

America controls Israel on the outside, but Israel controls America from within. This is a feminine characteristic.

Ever since the first exiles of Israel (the Assyrian and Babylonian exiles), the remnant of Israel has become like a woman; and the Jews have acted like women. Israel is still a light unto the nations, although the Jews are more like a light within the nations. And this adaptation is only the result of a disobedient Israel; one that has distanced itself from G-d and from His Laws. For how can the Jews follow G-d's Laws when they are the subjects of strangers, that follow the laws of foreign nations? Thus Israel is weak and is a puppet on the outside, while within, Israel is strong and influential, and contains the spirit of a great nation, and to some extent, the Spirit of G-d.

Like a woman that illuminates the home, bringing light and warmth to the household and adding spirit to the family, so do the Jews bring light to the nations, and the Jewish state brings light to the world. But this was not the Intention. Israel is not supposed to compromise itself and the Laws of G-d in order to please the nations and cater to their desires. Because, like a woman that is the subject of men, Israel is forced to follow the laws of foreigners in place of G-d's Laws, and live for the cause of strangers, in place of its own national aspirations. Such is the story of Judaism and such is the fate of the Jews, but Israel must divorce itself from these types of commitments, for this cannot be the story of Israel.

America has no relationship with Israel, for Israel has yet to be reborn, and America does not know Israel in its True form. America, like Rome, has had an affair with Judaism alone. And modern Israel is not much different from the Jews of America, for the state of Israel is in a state of exile in its own home. The spirit of Israel is still in exile, along with 2/3rds of the remnant of Israel. And the remnant of Israel is not a nation; it is merely a religion that has married itself to foreign laws and allegiances.

The story of Judaism

Judaism was the product of Israel's exile. In Biblical times, the (northern) kingdom of Israel was conquered by Assyria and its people were carried off in exile. Then the (southern) kingdom of Judah was conquered by the Babylonians, that had conquered Assyria, and its people were also carried off in exile. Thus Israel was destroyed and its remnant was carried off in exile, to the region of Assyria/Babylonia. Then came the Persians (of ancient Persia) and they conquered a large part of the world (most of the world known to Biblical Israel), including Israel.

The ancient Persians were like the Turks of the Ottoman empire. Under them Israel was resettled and the Temple was rebuilt. Under Ottoman rule Israel was also resettled and the early Zionists began to build modern Israel.

Then came the ancient Greeks, and they conquered all of Persia and much of the world, including Israel. The ancient Greeks were like the British, that conquered much of the world and then defeated the Ottoman empire in world war one, taking control of Israel. Under Greek rule, Israel was Hellenized and the Jews were confused. They began to form different sects that would later fight and argue amongst themselves and cause many problems for Israel. Under the Greeks, Israel also grew in numbers and in wealth, and the nation was strengthened, although it was ruled by foreigners and was infiltrated with foreign thoughts.

The same thing happened under the British occupation. Under the British mandate, Israel grew in numbers and in wealth, but divisions also grew within Israel. There were loyalists and there were rebels; there were those who sympathized with the British and there were those who were disgusted by the British and their occupation of Israel. Furthermore, divisions formed during this time between right and left--which was distinguished by defience or cooperation with the British. And divisions also formed concerning the topic of religion and the defining aspects of the character of Israel. Which is simply a repetition of what had been during the time of the Greek occupation of Israel.

And then the Jews rebelled and drove out the Greeks, under the leadership of the Hasmonians (the Maccabee family). And likewise, the Jews rebelled against England, driving out the British, under the leadership of the Irgun and Lehi (that were freedom fighters / paramilitary organizations).

But when the Jews liberated themselves from Greece, they didn't exactly achieve independence, for their glory was only short lived, and their success was overshadowed by failure. Israel was never exactly liberated. The Jews simply replaced the Greek occupation with their own occupation of Israel. They were not a nation of G-d. They were a nation of men; disoriented, confused, and misguided men. And they weren't even a nation, for they fought amongst themselves and split in two, allowing Rome to take control.

When the Jews rebelled against the British occupation, which was similar to the rebellion against ancient Greece, it was not an all out rebellion. Most of the Jews cooperated with Britain, as the Jews had cooperated with Greece. And those that rebelled were few in number and in force, and their rebellion was not open and direct; it was a guerrilla type of war. The Irgun and Lehi led seditious campaigns against Britain, and the British were unable to respond effectively. And this was an embarrasment to England, for the great force of the British empire could not even control the small colony of Jews in Israel and mantain order in the Land, even though most of the Jews supported England and were loyal to the British crown. In the end Britain gave up and pulled out, but not without much hesitance and disappointment, and many failures on their part. For the British dealt harshly with the Jews, even though most of them were friendly, and this ruined Britain's reputation worldwide. While the British had been given a mandate to set up authorities in Israel, facilitate the growth of the Jewish state, and rebuild the Land, they ended up fighting against the Jews and holding them back. And this gave the friends of England a reason to attack.

But the Jews never really attacked. Instead they fought amongst themselves as they had done during the time of Greece. The mainstream defense organization of the Jews in pre-state Israel was the Haganah, which was backed by the Jewish Agency / World Zionist Organization. The Irgun and Lehi were simply break-away factions. The Irgun was formed by a group of men that broke away from the Haganah, and Lehi by another group that broke away from the Irgun. But in general, the Irgun and Lehi worked togethor to achieve the same goal: to liberate Israel from the British occupation by any means, and defend the Jews against the arabs (which was mainly the role of the Haganah). But many Jews were against the Irgun and Lehi, as the Jews of Israel (and the world) were trying to cooperate with the British and these break-away groups were causing "discord." So the Jews betrayed their own brothers, turning in members (and lists of members) of the Irgun and Lehi to the British authorities, that then dealt harshly with these rebellious men.

And this schism was so deep-rooted, that even after Israel had declared independence, and after having been indendepent for no more than 24 hours, when the combined armies of seven aggressive Arab nations attacked the weak and disoriented Jewish state, the Jews were still not united. A few days into the war, when the Irgun was receiving a shipment of weapons in a vessel off the coast of Tel Aviv/Jaffa, the Haganah, under the leadership of Ben-Gurion, attacked this vessel, blowing it up, along with its crew... Perhaps if Israel had not been in mortal danger from the very moment it declared independence, the Jews might have had the opportunity to start a civil war (although the Irgun and Lehi had consistently refused to fight against their own people; not even to defend themselves). Civil war was averted, but modern Israel has always been a divided and unstable nation. You'd think the Jews have suffered enough, but apparently they've chosen to suffer more, as they only torment themselves, fighting against each other.

And rather than gain independence, modern Israel found a new sponsor to decide for it; which is America. The grandchildren of the Maccabees brought Rome into Israel, and the Israelis pledged allegience to the Americans, bowing down to the United Nations. Perhaps this was not a conscious decision, for you could say Israel was not exactly in a good position and that it depends upon foreign support, otherwise it would be the world against Israel, but Israel chose to go a step further. Mutual agreements and alliances are not supposed to be one-sided. A nation can choose to trade for what it needs or it can allow itself to be controlled and abused. Israel does not control itself; it functions like a colony. Israel backs down to threats and sells its freedom for favors. If the Americans had behaved this way in colonial times, there would not have been an American revolution.

What was Rome?

Rome was a product of Greece and Greek culture, as America is a product of England and English culture. Ancient Greece was built upon a rivalry of city-states that were joined togethor under a single leadership, as was Rome. One dominant city-state rose up and took control of the others and, thereafter, it took control of much of the world. A popular form of government in ancient Greece was that of the republic. However, the masses were never given the vote and most people weren't even citizens of the state--they were mere servants, slaves, and craftsmen. This was an oligrarchy, with a ruling class of aristocrats. Such was the republic of Greece, such was the republic of Rome, such was the constitutional monarchy of England, and such is the role of the federal government of the United States of America (to some extent). But this doesn't mean a pure democracy is preferable, because most people are not fit to rule and power must be centralized if a nation is to be united and strong.

Greek culture was a mix of philosophy and paganism, as was that of Rome. The pagan aspects of the ancient Greek culture were not unique and are therefore not worth talking about. The philosophy and intelligence of Greece, was unique, and this was its legacy to the world. The ancient Greeks conquered much of the world and they spread their ideas wherever they went, as had, and have, many other nations. Rome learned from the Greeks and copied their way of life so successfully, that it raised itself above Greece and soon took the lead. For a time Greece had been at the center of things, until it degenerated and fell apart, giving rise to Rome. Rome seized the torch of Greece, carrying forward full charge, untill Rome repeated the mistakes of Greece, falling into decadence and dying a decadent death. There was something special about Rome, but these gifts were rotted to the core and Rome became a curse upon the world.

What is America?

America was the product of "mother" England, but America distinguished itself and the "new world" was named after it (or visa versa). England, the British empire, was a nation of "etiquette." The same island of barbarians that the Romans had "civilized," thought itself to be the center of the civilized world, and thus it set out to conquer and "civilize" the world. It was a very romantic notion, and the British took pride in their ideals, in the stature of their empire, and in the glory of their crown, as the Romans too had worshiped the image of Rome. But, like the ancient Greeks, the British set up an empire too vast to be maintained, and so they spent all their time fighting wars and trying to keep control of their many colonies. Besides, they weren't very smart about governing foreigners, as they would set up institutions to extract the wealth from foreign lands, rather than develop the nations they had conquered for the benefit of the colonies themselves. They were like a virus that infected foreign lands and turned the locals against themselves, for the sake of the British crown. This was "mercantilism." It gave England much wealth and created many problems. I think it killed the British more than it helped, gave them more pain than pleasure, and a bigger headache than the peace of mind they had desired. They wanted to civilize the world, but instead they behaved like savages.

America was a colony of England that had had enough of mercantilism and the one-sided British system. America rebelled against mother England, and it won much more than its freedom. America inherited the British empire; it inherited the world. Like the Romans that had outdone the Greeks, the Americans outdid the British and reshaped the concept of a civil empire. The Americans discovered the meaning of power; they got the world to love America and welcome its institutions. And thus the world became the "new world."

And What is Israel?

When G-d Freed His people out of the bondage of egypt, He Made Israel into a nation. Israel is a nation of G-d, Ruled by G-d; by the Laws of G-d. G-d Gave the Torah to Israel, for the sake of mankind; that Israel should be a Light unto the nations. He Gave slaves a big responsibility. He Made the Hebrews into a nation of G-d, that is Freed from the bondage of the body, and is a free spirit; the Breath of G-d. Israel was not Freed from egypt as much as it was Freed from itself. It is G-d that Imbued the soul into man and Gave him godly abilities, but it is man that enslaved himself and used his intelligence for evil purposes. Corruption is of the body, but the spirit of man is of the Breath of G-d. Israel is a nation that is supposed to rise beyond physical limitations and live according to G-d. But Israel has not always lived according to its Purpose nor served its Role in the world.

It's not for nothing that Israel has, and has had, many enemies. It is also not for nothing that Israel has suffered so many calamities. For Israel stands in the way of all who seek power. Israel has been the thorn in the side of empires and has carried the message that has torn down governments and foretold the fall of mighty nations. It's not that Israel has any power. It is because Israel represents the spark in a dried up forest and the leak in a creaking dam. Israel brings out the Truth in things, that makes the falsehoods obsolete. And something false is questionable from the very beginning; so from the very beginning of things, Israel poses a problem and is a threat to those who insist upon causing problems.

But when Israel itself becomes corrupt, following the desires of the body, and disobeying G-d's Laws, Israel makes a fool of itself and desecrates the Name of G-d. When Israel is with G-d, G-d is With Israel, and Israel is strong. But the Jews behave like women, following the laws of the nations and bowing down to the desires of men, rather than following the Laws of G-d. Judaism is not Israel. Israel cannot be a religion, for it is a nation. And Israel is not a faith, for it is a way of life...It is a form of government; Israel is the nation of G-d...

If Israel is the puppet of the US, then this cannot be Israel, for Israel must be Ruled by G-d. Modern Israel is only a Jewish state; it is not Israel. Israel does not exist today. Only the remnant of Israel remains, and this remnant has distanced itself from G-d and not followed His Laws. But G-d is with Israel nonetheless, for modern Israel will become a nation of G-d. Israel has suffered enough and has made the same mistakes for too long. The same story that has repeated itself for millenia, must come to an end this very day. Because it's a disgusting story that brings only filth into the world and death to Israel and all that's good. Israel knows this and everyone is aware of this fact. The last two thousand years have been a detour in our path, and history has only repeated itself. Enough running and enough hiding, because we bring only pain to ourselves.

What will be?

America is not very smart, and the Jews are fools that make the same mistakes over and over again. If Americans know what's best for them, they'll remain the friends of Israel, for it is a benefit to them. But if Israel knows what's best for itself, it will free itself from the grasp of the American empire, and ignore the feeble threats of the Americans and of the United Nations. When Israel becomes a nation of G-d that follows G-d's Laws, America will have no control over Israel, for G-d Rules Israel, and not anyone else. This will probably anger America; that Israel dares to free itself and laughs at the threats of the United Nations... Many nations will probably turn against Israel, trying to destroy G-d's people and bury the Word of G-d. But if Israel is truly a nation of G-d, then its enemies will never defeat the Rule of G-d, for who can defeat G-d? It is only Israel that can destroy itself, and not anyone else.

What will become of America?

America is a great nation, and if it is to remain a great nation, America should remain the friend, and even the ally, of Israel. Togethor, much can be accomplished, and many people can redeem themselves and live a good life. If the bonds break and the relationship decays, then there will be problems both for America and for Israel. War is not easy, and hostility brings calamity. If America considers Israel a threat to its authority and world supremacy, then Israel will truly become a threat, and both nations can threaten each other and cause problems for one another. Israel's wars against Rome were more than rebellions and Rome's campaigns against Israel were more than patrols. If the relationship decays, America will decay with it, Israel will face calamity, and the world will face another dark age. America cannot afford to act against Israel, because if Israel is weak then evil is strengthened, and if America turns evil, then the world will turn against America. If Israel turns evil, then America would have a reason to act out against Israel, but Americans must be careful in judging between good and bad. Because just as Israel should do evil to evil doers, America should bring death to murderers. But if America were to kill those who carry out the Order of Justice, then America would be seen as an evil country, and someone would have to bring America to Justice.

But America need not worry, for it is a good country. If Americans seek good and do good in the world, then Israel will be a good friend of America... America is a country of many laws, just as the Romans had many gods. Justice in America is seen in color and is stretched over the entire spectrum of grayscales. The laws of America can hardly be contained in a local library, for they are so many. And the laws are not binding, as each new case forms a new interpretation of the laws and of the precedents of previous cases. America has not found truth; its people are confused. It would be odd for a country such as the US to tell Israel which laws to follow and which precepts to keep, when America does not have Laws and its justice system is based upon opinions. Israel must follow G-d's Laws, for these are the True Laws. And America should keep to itself and mind its own business, because Americans, like all people, are merely the subjects of G-d, and a subject does not dictate laws to its master; the Master of the Universe. Americans should not start an arguement in which they have nothing to argue about, because in the end they'll realize they should change even their own laws.

It is for this reason that America would naturally befriend Israel, since peace and stability are within America's interests. Nations only fight about laws and to see who's really in charge, but a democratic government is fit to evolve and adapt to a better system of laws. It is for this reason that democracies rarely wage aggressive wars, since democratic countries are open to suggestion. If Israel follows G-d and is a nation of G-d, then democratic countries would respect the Laws of Israel, because this is the Order of Justice. America would have no reason to speak out against Israel, since Israel would be a Just and honorable nation. If America would dare criticize the Order of Justice, then this would be a sign of America's own corruption. And if America would attack Israel in any way, then America would be seen as an evil nation.

But this is not the American way. Americans have not made a name for themselves as a peace loving people based upon the ideals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, by trying to take over the world, turn its people into slaves, and the nations into puppets. If America insists upon becoming an empire, then it will lose control of the world, including the world economy. If America follows in the footsteps of the Britsh empire and degenerates like Rome, then, like them, America will fall apart and will remain only a memory. America will not profit off control. It will only gain through friendship, and prosper from the support of the nations it supports. Just as trade brings gain to all who participate, friendship brings benefit to all who exchange it.

Even when Israel ignores the threats of America and lives according to its Purpose, Americans should only find this an occasion to cellebrate. When Israel follows G-d's Laws, becoming a nation of G-d, thus restructuring its government according to the Rule of G-d and judging according to His Torah, this will be a good sign for the world and a Blessing for mankind. When Israel defeats its enemies, the enemies of G-d that mock His Laws and desecrate His Holy Name, then America will no longer be in charge. When those who seek to destroy Israel bring destruction upon themselves, then Israel will be in control of itself and all the Land Promised to it for all generations. America will no longer dictate laws to Israel and the nations will not wish Israel harm. Then America will truly be a great nation, for it will know right from wrong, and will be responsible for itself and for its actions. Reason will no longer be dictated by desire, because America will not be able to manipulate itself and other nations, according to its temptations.

When people act for the good, for the best of the world, to better please their souls and make use of their abilities, then the nations will find themselves in a better position to rule themselves, according to the principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Then the lands will harvest wealth and gain an abundance of pleasure and self-satisfaction. For Justice Will be served and people will lead purposefull lives; not having to die for meaningless things. This is the Purpose of Israel, it is the domain of America, and this is the Role of mankind.
